Northeast Indiana

Kayci Irmscher, MA, CTRS

Co-Owner of New Leaf Recreation, LLC

Kayci graduated with a Bachelors in Therapeutic Recreation at the University of Toledo in 2015, and soon after passed the CTRS exam. Kayci then chose to further her education and received her Masters in Recreation Administration in 2016 from the University of Toledo. After beginning to work on the Indiana Medicaid Waiver in 2016, Kayci extended her professional life by becoming an Adjunct Professor at Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne. In her free time, Kayci enjoys spending time with her husband, Adam, and her black labs, Kolby and Piper!

Lori Schweyer, CTRS

Co-Owner of New Leaf Recreation, LLC

Lori graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from Indiana Tech in 2006. Soon after graduation, Lori passed the CTRS exam and began working on the Indiana Medicaid Waiver in 2008. She has experience both as a therapist and director of a recreational therapy program. Lori has been involved in the waiver for 10+ years and has the pleasure of serving most of her client caseload for the majority of that time. In her free time, Lori enjoys hanging out with friends, family, and her two silly and awesome kids, Ellie and Wyatt!

Taylor Stieb, CTRS

Co-​Owner of New Leaf Recreation, LLC

Taylor graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelors in Therapeutic Recreation in 2015. Taylor successfully passed the CTRS exam and began working on the Indiana Medicaid Waiver the same year she graduated. Soon after beginning her work on the waiver, Taylor was given the title of Internship Supervisor and was in charge of the supervision of college interns and the creation of an internship program. In her free time, Taylor enjoys traveling, going to the lake, and spending time with friends, family, and her dog, Sasha!

Elena Witte, CTRS

Elena graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelors in Therapeutic Recreation in August 2017 and completed her internship within the Indiana Medicaid Waiver. Soon after passing her CTRS exam, Elena began working on the waiver in 2017. She has extensive experience working with individuals with disabilities on the waiver and also at a residential facility for individuals with disabilities called Josina Lott in Toledo during college. In her free time, Elena enjoys spending time with family, friends, her husband Tyler, and her two cats!

Devin Riggs, MA, CTRS

Devin is a 2015 graduate from the University of Toledo's Therapeutic Recreation program and a 2016 graduate from the Recreation Administration masters program also from the University of Toledo. After making the move from Toledo to Fort Wayne, Devin began her professional career by working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities on the Indiana Medicaid Waiver in 2017. In Devin's free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Donnie, her daughter, Emilia, and her boxer pup, Gus Gus!

Justin Ward, LRT/CTRS

Justin is a graduate from the Western Carolina University Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation program in 2018. He completed his internship at a rehabilitation hospital and received his CTRS credentials shortly after. Justin has experience working as a recreational therapist at a psychiatric hospital and adolescent behavioral health center. He is a Licensed Recreational Therapist in the state of North Carolina and is certified in Person-Centered Thinking. 

Trisha Bell, CTRS

Trisha received her Bachelors of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from East Carolina University in 2021. After graduation, Trisha took her skills from North Carolina to Fort Wayne to complete her internship working at New Leaf, where she successfully passed her CTRS exam. Trisha has experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities on the Indiana Medicaid Waiver. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her pup Maggie, her boyfriend Trevor, and her friends and family!

Cassidy Honeycutt, CTRS

Cassidy is a 2021 graduate from East Carolina University with her Bachelors of Science in Therapeutic Recreation and a Minors in Psychology. After completing her internship, she successfully passed her boards and obtained her CTRS credentials. Cassidy completed her internship working at New Leaf and has experience working with individuals with disabilities on the Indiana Medicaid Waiver. In her free time, Cassidy enjoys spending time with her pup Gabby and spending time with friends and family.

Central Indiana

Shelby Groves, CTRS

Shelby graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Recreation from Indiana University in 2019 and completed her internship at The Rocky Mountain MS Center in Westminster, CO. She has experience as a volunteer at a Serbian Recreational Therapy Exchange Program while traveling to various countries, a direct support professional (DSP), a camp counselor at Bradford Woods, and creating adaptive programs in college. In her free time, Shelby enjoys crocheting, hiking, kayaking, playing with her dogs, listening to music, and watching movies!

Morgan Cavanaugh, CTRS

Morgan graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Recreation from Indiana University in 2019 and completed her internship at the VA in Indianapolis. Morgan has experience as an international volunteer advocating and educating others about recreational therapy while traveling to Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, and Herzegovina. She also has experience creating adaptive programs and volunteering for a Special Olympics bowling league. In her free time, Morgan enjoys reading, bike riding, playing cards, and surf/wakeboarding at the lake!

Morgan Bell, CTRS

Morgan is a 2018 graduate from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation. From there, Morgan passed her CTRS certification exam and soon after began working as a recreational therapist. Morgan has experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities on the Indiana Medicaid Waiver and also as a certified nursing assistant (CNA). In Morgan's free time, she enjoys reading, traveling to new places, scrapbooking, and visiting her family members!

Kristen Copple, CTRS

Kristen received her Bachelors of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Indiana University-Bloomington in 2018. Once she successfully finished her degree, completed her internship at Bloomington Meadows Hospital, and passed the CTRS exam, Kristen took her skills all the way to Anchorage, Alaska to work as a recreational therapist at a behavior health center before moving back home to Indiana. In Kristen's free time, she enjoys hiking, rock climbing, photography, board games, movies, and reading!

Jolie Rardin, CTRS

Jolie is a graduate from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation in 2017. Upon successfully completing her internship and receiving her CTRS credentials, Jolie went on to work in multiple settings with various roles, including an adult day training recreation director, therapeutic recreation department supervisor, recreational specialist aide, and more. In Jolie's free time, she enjoys being outdoors and camping, thrifting and flipping various furniture items, and dog training!

Azia White, CTRS

Azia received her Bachelors of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Indiana University-Bloomington in 2019. Once she successfully finished her degree, completed her internship at Indiana University Health in the behavioral health unit, and passed the CTRS certification exam, Azia began working as a Registered Behavioral Technician while providing ABA therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder before working on the waiver. In Azia's free time, she enjoys running and listening to music.

Becca Meyer, CTRS

Becca is a 2020 graduate from Indiana University-Bloomington with a Bachelors of Science in Therapeutic Recreation and a Minors in Psychology and Gerontology. Becca has experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities on the Indiana Medicaid Waiver and also as a Director for a nursing home recreational therapy department. In Becca's free time, she enjoys being outdoors, boating, hanging out with friends and family, watching Netflix, and shopping!

West Indiana

Lanae Prindiville-Moss, CTRS

Lanae graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Therapeutic Recreation and a Minor in Music from Indiana University Bloomington in 2019 and soon after successfully passed her CTRS exam. Lanae has extensive experience working with individuals with disabilities on the IN medicaid waiver, as she completed her internship on the waiver and also has volunteer experience with an agency working with individuals on the waiver. In Lanae's free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, husband, and going hiking!

Melody Kellett, CTRS

Melody received her Bachelors of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Indiana State University in 1997. Since completing her degree, Melody has been in multiple roles since college, including a recreational therapist in a hospital setting and a recreational therapist working with individuals with disabilities on the Indiana Medicaid Waiver. In Melody's free time, she enjoys boating, watching her kids sports, soccer, golf, and basketball. She also loves to travel and spend time at the beach and outdoors!

Northwest Indiana

Juanakee Sinkler, MS, CTRS

Juanakee received her Bachelors of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from Grand Valley State University in 2013. After her undergrad degree, Juanakee went on to receive her Masters of Science in Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration from Western Illinois University in 2016. She has extensive experience as a recreational therapist in numerous settings and populations, including a Director/Lead role at a past employer. In Juanakee's free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, and spending time with family and her 3 dogs!

Allison Ayala, CTRS

Allison is a 2019 graduate from the Therapeutic Recreation program and a certificate holder in Gerontology from Indiana State University. Soon after graduating, she went on to successfully pass her CTRS certification exam. Allison has experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as a direct support professional (DSP) and she also completed her internship at a behavioral center.  In Allison's free time, she enjoys being outside when the weather is nice, dancing, and playing games!

Samantha Levickis, CTRS

Samantha graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelors in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation in 2019. Once she completed her internship, Samantha successfully passed her CTRS exam. Samantha has experience as a volunteer and programmer at an adaptive physical education program and also was the President of the Therapeutic Recreation Society at her university. In her free time, Samantha enjoys fishing, watching netflix, and hanging with friends and family!

Kristen Cunningham, CTRS

Kristen is a graduate from Indiana University-Bloomington with a Bachelors of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation. Shortly after graduation, Kristen passed her CTRS exam, receiving her credentials. Kristen has extensive experience as a recreational therapist working with individuals in a physical rehab hospital, and also has 10 years of experience as a Special Education Instructional Assistant in the school system working with students with special needs. In Kristen's free time, she enjoys doing craft projects, gardening, and baking!

Amand​a Hendley, MS, LRT/CTRS

Amanda is a graduate from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelors of Science in Therapeutic Recreation. After receiving her CTRS, Amanda chose to further her education at Northcentral University and received a Masters in Healthcare Administration. Amanda has experience working with individuals at a rehabilitation center, child youth and school services, and at a senior living center.

Caleb Campbell, CTRS

Caleb received his Bachelors of Recreation and Sports Management in Therapeutic Recreation from University of St. Francis in 2021. After completing his internship at a VA Center in Illinois, he successfully passed his boards and obtained his CTRS credentials. Caleb has extensive experience working with veterans as a recreational therapy assistant at AllenForce All Veterans All Eras and was an Executive Board member for the Recreational Therapy Club in college.
